Calling all enthusiastic and joyous Cooks/Chefs!

We are seeking an experienced Cook or Chef to join our loving Pasta Club team in Sydney. You will take responsibility for food preparation, directing kitchen staff and ensuring dishes are prepared in a timely manner according to provided recipes. This position is open for collaboration if you have recipes to bring to the table! Menus are pre-approved and seasonal, always. Bonus points for pasta lovers!

Our ideal candidates will have;

• Minimum 2 years kitchen experience or adequate expertise

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations

• Ability to order produce and prep prior to event

• Weekend availability / flexibility

• Licence and own transport

• Ability to work well in a team

• Ability to work on site at different locations in different kitchen enviroments

• Knowledge of local and global cuisine

• Efficient with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods

• A positive can-do attitude

• Attention to detail and creative presentation

• Proactive and professional with a strong work ethic

• Enthusiasm to grow with the business

Job Role

Your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to;

• Coordinating produce and deli orders needed for upcoming Pasta Clubs

• Food preparation prior to event

• Directing kitchen staff

• Effectively communicating with host and wait staff

• Formulating seasonal menus alongside Jenna and our other chefs

• Working with co-workers for efficient cleanup

• Confidently getting to and from onsite locations
