Casual position - Melbourne & Sydney

Pasta Club requires experienced, reliable and enthusiastic staff. Our team is small, but tight-nit and it is important to us that our staff enjoy the event to ensure that guests needs are met and guarantee an outstanding guest experience. This position is for the Head of each team in our Melbourne and Sydney locations.

Our ideal candidates will have;

  • Previous hospitality experience

  • Previous management experience

  • Confident speaking to large groups

  • Extremely organised

  • Current VIC/NSW RSA or be ready to acquire

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations

  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette

  • Weekend availability / flexibility

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability pump up team during busy service and keep moral high

  • Ability to work onsite at various locations

  • A positive can-do attitude

  • Proactive and professional with a strong work ethic

  • License and vehicle or reliable transportation

Job Role

Your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to;

  • Organising and rostering staff based on upcoming events provided

  • Welcome and “Hosting” guests at each event and explaining the event

  • Organise setup and pack down of venue

  • Pouring wine and preparing drinks

  • Assisting wait staff as needed during service

  • Working and coordinating with other staff as a team

  • Advising customers on dishes and having a knowledge of what is on the “menu”

  • Ensuring guests are comfortable and happy

  • Remaining proactive, looking out for anything that needs to be done

  • Ensuring service is run efficiently and venue space is left appropriately
